Currently, a face mask/everyday mask is increasingly required in public spaces, e.g. B. in supermarkets in some federal states. Contrary to popular belief, the point of a printed face mask/everyday mask is not to protect yourself, but to protect those around you from your own “droplets” and to avoid infecting them if necessary. The spread of the coronavirus and other flu viruses can be slowed if as many people as possible wear an MNS. Although there is no evidence in the research literature that a face mask/everyday mask actually protects against infection with the coronavirus (or viruses in general), the use of MNS (mouth and nose protection) is required in more and more areas of public life.
